Do you tattoo under 18?

Nope, we’ll see you when you’re 18!

Can I drink alcohol before or during my tattoo?

No no no and nope! It is against Virginia law to tattoo anyone who has alcohol in their system. Please be respectful and wait until after your appointment to cheers to some new artwork! We hate kicking people out, but we will if it means our business is on the line. Thank you for understanding!

Do you all do piercings?

No, we do not offer piercings at this time.

Google only has the option to classify our business as "Tattoo AND Piercing," so we're sorry for any confusion that may cause. For now, we are just your tattoo studio!

What will my tattoo cost?

The shop minimum is $100, which accounts for any tattoo under an hour. After that, you’ll be charged $150 per hour. This is blanketed over any style, color, lettering, placement or coverup!

If you’re looking for a large piece, we can take it in steps and spread out sessions as needed.

Do you only accept cash?

We do prefer cash payments whenever possible, but we also accept cards and Apple Pay. If you're unsure how much cash you should bring just message us!

Tipping in cash is also preferred! Thank you!!

How long will my tattoo take?

Timing all depends on size, placement, style, and complexity of the piece. Once you book your appointment we will review the submitted details to determine if additional time will be needed outside of the scheduled block. Note that you will not be charged for unused time within your scheduled block.

How do I take care of my new tattoo?

How long should I wait between sessions for larger pieces?

We recommend allowing at least two weeks before continuing with your next session to allow your skin to heal.

Can I use numbing cream?

Look...there's no judgement here :) We support the use of numbing cream 100% should you choose to use it. Not only can it make your personal experience better, it can also allow you to sit more steadily and for a longer period of time.

If using we recommend applying a thick layer to the desired area and covering in plastic wrap starting 1-2 hours prior to your appointment. Come to your appointment with it still covered.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, we do require a non-refundable $50 deposit to book an appointment. This will go towards the final cost of your tattoo.

Can I come in for a consultation?

Abso-freakin-lutely! If you have some questions or want to talk about your design ideas in person prior to booking an appointment, feel free to stop in during shop hours (Tues-Sat 12-8) and we'll chat! Consults are always free but not required before booking an appointment.

We love having you and talking with you, but please don’t expect an in depth consultation if you pop in as a walk in! Courtney is almost always tattooing during business hours, so she will absolutely talk ideas with you and even look at reference photos, but reach out if you need a more in depth, scheduled consult!

Will I get to make edits to my drawing at my appointment?

Of course! When you schedule your appointment you'll be asked to provide as many details and reference photos you can about the piece you want. You can't go overboard here so include it all! Courtney will use this to draw up your tattoo prior to your appointment and you'll go over this with her at the beginning of your appointment block with opportunity to make small tweaks as desired.

Can I get a copy of the drawn tattoo before my appointment?

Nope!

We would love to spend the beginning of your appointment going over the drawing and making edits though! Our artist puts a lot of hours into drawings that we can't risk being taken elsewhere. Thank you for your understanding!

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes, when time allows. The shop is open Tue-Sat 12-8pm, walk-ins can be fit into the schedule between appointments on a first come, first serve basis.

If you are local and not in dire need of an emergency impulse tattoo, we recommend booking an appointment! It is fairly rare you’ll come at the perfect time to squeeze between booked appointments. There’s a link on this site!

Should I tip my artist?

We really appreciate it! It’s usually customary to tip your artists, and cash tips are always best! Thank you!!

Can I change or cancel my appointment?

Of course! You can reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours ahead of your appointment time and your deposit will remain for that appointment. If you cancel 24 hours or less, you'll lose your deposit and need to book a new appointment.

Note: we're also not jerks though, so if something happens...email us ([email protected]) and we can figure it out
