COURTNEY SHEA

I’m Courtney, a tattoo artist based in Woodstock, VA.

I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design. There, I studied painting and have a love for making art through countless mediums. I love tattooing realism works, and my favorite subjects to tattoo are portraits of people and animals. I love the challenge of bringing loved ones to life through art. I’m into all things nature, and am up for any challenge. I can work from photographs and create custom pieces. I am very easy to work with and willing to put in the effort to come up with your perfect design. I love doing coverups and I will also touch up or finish any work you have on you.

This shop is a safe space. Lindsay and I are the only two working here and I am the only artist tattooing. You are more than welcome to let me know ahead of time if you have any sensory issues so I can be sure to have low calming music music playing for your session (I tend to play pretty chill stuff anyways). I have struggled with my mental health all my life, so I get you if you have anxiety about coming into a tattoo shop. I promise you, this one will feel ok. Linds and I can’t wait to meet you (and your kids if you want to bring them.. we love kiddos)!
